Ingrid and Geoff Turner recently made the life changing decision to move from Shepparton, Victoria, (where they raised their two daughters,) to the beautiful beachside town of Moruya Heads. Having spent many wonderful holidays there, it didn't take much to decide that this was their retirement destination. The weather, the river, the beaches, the bush, the friendly people, the "country town" feeling of Moruya - who could resist?
Over the years, they have owned and operated successful customer service orientated businesses. They love meeting people and making new friends, so having a bed and breakfast was a perfect choice for this area.
The lifestyle of the Southern NSW Coast was the drawcard and they love it. So much so, they want to share it with people and welcome them into their home so they get to experience the beauty and relaxed energy of the area. Ingrid has long had a dream to operate a Bed and Breakfast style accommodation, so when they inspected this house, they could see her dream becoming a reality.
Geoff has always had a keen interest in anything mechanical, loving motorcycles and cars in particular. He owns a 1947 Ford Anglia hot rod and a Shelby Cobra replica, which he built. He is always on the hunt for something he can restore, so you will often find him tinkering in his workshop. Ask him to show you his "toys" if you are interested.
Ingrid loves music and crafts, crystals, astronomy, lots of "hippy" things and photography. You may find a few of her photos, gracing the walls at Lazy Days Bed and Breakfast.
Ingrid and Geoff welcome you warmly into their little piece of paradise and hope you enjoy some Lazy Days hospitality.
