The choices are yours when you stay at Lazy-Days B & B and there are so many of them.
Some may depend on the weather, such as sky diving on a beautiful day or enjoying sitting on the beach, gazing at the mass of stars in the clear night sky. You may choose to spend a day wandering through the quirky shops in Mogo (only 15 minutes away) or take a whale watching tour during the season (July and October).
The world renowned Mogo Wildlife Park is well worth a visit and you can easily spend a day there with "hands-on" experiences available with some of the beautiful animals.
The Moruya River is at the end of our street, or Preddy's wharf a few minutes away for fishing - if you have a fishing boat, you can launch there. A morning walk along the surf beach as the sun rises, is spectacular. The beach is only 4 kms from Lazy Days Bed and Breakfast, with a couple of choices - there is a protected beach called Shelly's Beach which is great for boogie boarding or even some surfing. Its pristine water is great for a swim. Around the corner is the surf beach for experienced surfers. There is also Toragy Point which is a great lookout point and you may be lucky to see whales during the season, or the resident seals. It also is home to a very old cemetery.
This area is renowned for its oysters, due to the pristine waters of the rivers. So a feed of oysters is a must if you are a lover of seafood!
Or you may just choose to sit, watch TV, read a book, do the community jigsaw puzzle or simply catch up on some sleep!
You may like to sit out by the fire pit on a mild, starry night, toasting marshmallows (which are provided) or perhaps enjoy happy hour by the fire before dinner. We offer an extra package for happy hour, which includes local Bodalla cheese, port, dip and biscuits etc for $25. Just let us know when you book, if you would like this option.
Or another option to really make your stay a "lazy- day", a Reflexology treatment by a qualified reflexologist, will leave you feeling blissfully relaxed. (Charges apply) Ingrid has been a reflexologist for 16 years, so ask for more information if you would like to know more.
